DHAKA, Oct 13, 2020 (BSS) – Ministers today expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of former Bangla Academy director, Liberation War researcher and noted writer Rashid Haider.
In separate condolence messages, Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen, Environment, Forest and Climate Change Minister Md Shahab Uddin and Science and Technology Minister Architect Yafes Osman expressed profound shock at the death of Rashid Haider.
They prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed profound sympathy to the bereaved family members.
Rashid Haider died around 10am today at his Fuller Road residence at the age of 79.
