NATORE, Oct 13, 2020 (BSS) – A total of 189 homeless families got disaster tolerant houses from the government relief and rehabilitation office under the Ministry of Disaster Management.
Deputy Commissioner Md Shahriaz handed over the keys of the houses to the homeless people at a function held at his conference room this noon.
Zila Parishad Chairman Advocate Sajedur Rahman Khan, Additional Police Super Tareq Jubayer, district relief and rehabilitation officer Engineer Salauddin Al Wadud were present at the function, among others.
Taka around 3 lakh had been spent for the construction of each house.
Salauddin Al Wadud said a total of 558 homeless families of the district would get such types of houses.
