Govt appoints Engr. Golam Mostafa as Dhaka WASA Board chairman
DHAKA, Oct 12, 2020 (BSS) – The government has appointed Engineer Dr. Golam Mostafa as the chairman of Dhaka WASA Board.
Deputy Secretary of the Local Government Department Mohammad Saeed-ur-Rahman signed a circular in this regard today stating that under the power given under Section 7 (1) of the Water Supply and Sewerage Act, 1996, the member representing the water users, Dr. Engineer Golam Mostafa has been appointed as the Chairman of Dhaka WASA Board.
He will be replaced by the late Professor Dr. MA Rashid Sarkar, former Chairman of Dhaka WASA Board.
