DHAKA, Oct 12, 2020 (BSS)-Four more matches of the Bangabandhu Federation Cup Basketball were decided on the second day held at Dhanmondi Basketball Gymnasium in the city today.
In the day’s matches, Bangladesh Navy beat Dhumketu by 102-34 points after leading the first half by 54-09 points, Joshe Fights Club defeated Bangladesh Police team by 77-59 points after dominating the first half by 31-28 points, Bangladesh Air Force outclassed The Grags by 88-43 points after leading the first half by 52-13 points while Flame Boys Club overpowered Bakshi Bazar by 36-35 points after leading the first half by 22-19 points.
A total of eight teams, split into two groups, are taking part in the competition, which is being held to celebrate the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
Participating clubs:
Group A – Bangladesh Army, Dhumketu Club, Bangladesh Police and Joshe Fights Club.
Group B – Bangladesh Air Force, Bakshibazar Club, The Grags Club and Flame Boys Club.
