HABIGANJ, Oct 8, 2020 (BSS) – State Minister for Cultural Affairs K M Khalid here today said a week-long ‘Cultural Fair’ will be arranged in every district of the country.
He said this while addressing a view exchange meeting with cultural personalities of the district at Habiganj Circuit House this noon.
K M Khalid also said a statue of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman will be set up in front of Habiganj Shilpakala Academy.
Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Kamrul Hasan presided over the meeting. Md Abdul Majid Khan, MP, president of the district Awami League Md Abu Zahir, MP, general secretary Md Alamgir Chowdhury, Mayor of Habiganj municipality Mizanur Rahman, Police Super Mohammad Ullah and cultural personality Shahid Uddin Chowdhury were present, among others.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Morjian Akhter moderated the meeting.
