None involved in crimes will be spared: IGP

GOPALGANJ, Oct 8, 2020 (BSS) – Inspector General of Police (IGP) Dr
Benazir Ahmed today warned that none involved in crimes will be
spared.

“We, on behalf of the government, assure people that none involved
in crimes will be spared. We will bring everyone to book for justice,”
he told journalists after paying rich tributes to Father of Nation
Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s mausoleum by placing floral
wreaths at Tungipara this morning.

Dr Benazir Ahmed joined prayers and special munajat seeking eternal
peace of the departed souls of Bangabandhu and most of his family
members, who embraced martyrdom on August 15, 1975.

The government, he said, is in a tough position in every case
happened earlier and strict action has taken in every case. “Those who
are accused have been arrested. Charge sheets will be submitted as
soon as possible and we firmly believe that they (criminals) will face
trial.”

The IGP said there have been many such incidents in recent times

people of our country are very politically aware and they are very
