Nasrul for implementing projects before scheduled time
DHAKA, Oct 6, 2020 (BSS) – State Minister for Power, Energy and
Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid today asked all concerned to implement
projects quickly and before the scheduled time.
“If necessary, many works have to be completed together in
parallel,” he said while presiding over a meeting on review of
development projects under Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation (BPC),
said an official press release.
Nasrul Hamid said the installation of single point mooring with
double pipeline, fuel supply through Chattogram to Dhaka pipeline and
progress to the ERL Unit-2 are not satisfactory.
“Failure or incompetence of project directors often increases cost
of projects. Why the ministry will take responsibility?” he said.
The state minister instructed to appoint officers concerned to
oversee the projects.
Senior secretary of energy division Md Anisur Rahman and chairman
of BPC Md Shamsur Rahman were present in the virtual event, among
others.
