DHAKA, Oct 5, 2020 (BSS) – Light to moderate rain/thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram, Rangpur and Sylhet divisions and at a few places over Rajshahi, Mymensingh and Dhaka divisions with moderately heavy falls at places over the country.
Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, a Met office release said here today.
The low pressure area over Northwest Bay and adjoining Odisha coast persists. The axis of monsoon trough Bihar, the centre of the low to Assam across central part of Bangladesh. Monsoon is fairly active over Bangladesh and moderate elsewhere over North Bay.
Country’s maximum temperature on Sunday was recorded by 35.6 degree Celsius at Rajshahi and lowest temperature today was recorded by 24.4 degree Celsius at Teknaf. Highest rainfall for the last twenty-four hours till 6 am today was recorded by 60 millimeters (mm) Sylhet.
