TAFISA World Walking Day held
DHAKA, Oct. 4, 2020 (BSS)-The TAFISA World Walking Day, organised by Youth and Sports Ministry, National Sports Council (NSC) and Bangladesh Athletics Federation (BAF), was held today at the Bangabandhu National Stadium, a press release said today.
The Association For International Sports for All (TAFISA), the day which is observed with the combination of walking and relay events, and through the exchange of walking relay batons of athletics.
NSC’s Secretary Mohammad Masud Karim was the chief guest in the programme while BAF vice president Mohammad Farukul Islam and BAF general secretary advocate Abdur Rakib Montu were present as the special guests.
National sports award athletes under the BAF, former national gold medal winner athletes, present athletes and officials of NSC were present in the TAFISA Day programme.
