One held with 9,850 yaba tablets in C’nawabganj
CHAPAINAWABGANJ, Oct 3, 2020 (BSS) – Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested an alleged drug peddler with 9,850 pieces of yaba tablet from Shibganj in Chapainawabganj district this afternoon.
The arrested was identified as Md. Samir Hossain Kalu, 19 of Koilabari village under Shahbajpur union of Shibganj upazila in Chapainawabganj district.
RAB said, an operation team of RAB-5 from Chapainawabganj camp on a tip off raided Sonapurpara village under Shahbajpur union of Shibganj upazila in Chapainawabganj district at 3 pm and arrested Samir with the yaba tablets.
Later the arrested person was handed over to the police of Shibganj thana and a case was recorded with the police station in this connection, RAB sources added.
