Hong Kong reports 7 new COVID-19 cases, 5,104 in total
HONG KONG, Oct. 02,2020 (BSS/Xinhua) – Hong Kong’s Center for Health Protection (CHP) reported seven additional confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Friday, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 5,104.
According to the CHP, the new cases included three local infections and four imported cases.
Infection sources of two local cases were still unknown, with one being a chef in a Japanese restaurant. Operation of the restaurant has been suspended for 14 days while other employees were undergoing certain quarantine measures.
Hong Kong’s Hospital Authority said 122 patients are still hospitalized, including 10 in critical condition.
