DHAKA, Oct 2, 2020 (BSS) – Awami League Presidium Member Abdur Rahman today said Sheikh Hasina is more popular than Awami League and Bangladesh has now become a role model of development because of her able, honest and dynamic leadership.
“Sheikh Hasina is also very successful in tackling terrorism and militancy,” he said.
The Awami League leader said these while addressing a discussion titled “Successful Leadership of Bangabandhu’s Daughter Sheikh Hasina and Country and Nation’s Development” as the chief guest at National Press Club here.
“Sheikh Hasina is another name of Bangladesh. She is also the upholder of humanity,” Deputy Minister for Water Resources AKM Enamul Haque Shamim, who addressed the discussion as chief discussant, said.
Former general secretary of Dhaka South City unit of Awami League Shah-e Alam Murad, Bangabandhu Gobeshona Parishad president Lion Md Goni Miah Babul, Awami League leaders MA Karim and Minhaj Uddin Mintu also spoke as special guests.
The discussion was presided over by Adviser of Bangabandhu Academy Lion Chitta Ranjan Das and conducted by its general secretary Humayun Kabir Miji.
