Ministers, state ministers condole death of Kazi Nurjahan Begum
DHAKA, Oct 2, 2020 (BSS) – A number of ministers and state ministers today expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of Awami League joint general secretary AFM Bahauddin Nasim’s mother Kazi Nurjahan Begum.
In separate condolence messages, they prayed for eternal peace of her departed soul and conveyed sympathy to the bereaved family members.
The ministers and state ministers are Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives Minister M Tajul Islam, Agriculture Minister Dr M Abdur Razzaque, Environment, Forest and Climate Change Minister M Shahab Uddin, Social Welfare Minister Nuruzzaman Ahmed, Fisheries and Livestock Minister SM Rezaul Karim, Industries Minister Nurul Mazid Mahmud Humayun, Science and Technology Minister Architect Yafesh Osman, State Minister for Shipping Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury, State Minister for Cultural Affairs KM Khalid, State Minister for Social Welfare M Ashraf Ali Khan Khosru, State Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism M Mahbub Ali and State Minister for Women and Children Affairs Fazilatunnesa Indira.
Kazi Nurjahan Begum died at Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in the city at 7am today at the age of 81.
