CUMILLA DAKSHIN, Oct 01, 2020 (BSS) – Over 55000 children will be fed Vitamin A+ capsules in Vitamin A+ campaign 2020 in Cumilla maintaining health measures and social distancing.
The campaign will be kicked off on October 4 and continued to October 17.
This decision came in a meeting held at Atindra Mohan Rao auditorium this morning.
Mayor of Cumilla city Md Monirul Haque Sakku said Vitamin A+ campaign will be organized in 53 different places in the city as the educational institutions were shut for Coronavirus pandemic.
Of the Children, around 8000 aged between six to 11 mounths will be fed blue colour capsule, while around 48 thousand children aged between 12 to 59 mounths to be fed red colour capsules in the town.
Executive Engineer and Chief Health Officer of the city corporation Abu Sayem Bhuiyan, Medical Officer Chandona Rani Debnath, Medical Technologist Md Johirul Islam, among others, were present in the meeting.
