Sheikh Hasina is inheritor of Bangabandhu’s ideology: Dipu Moni
DHAKA, Sept 28, 2020 (BSS)- Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni today lauded Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s fearless and timely actions taken for the country and said that she inherited the same ideologies that Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib had in him.
“Just when Bangladesh was turning around under the leadership of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman after being freed from the tyranny, oppression, exploitation and deprivation of the dictator of Pakistan, Bangabandhu was brutally killed,” Dipu Moni said while addressing as the chief guest a function organized by Mohila Awami League, said a press release.
The function was organized to mark the occasion of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s 74th birthday.
“Since then, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, the daughter of the father of the nation, has shown the light of hope to Bangladesh”, she added.
Sheikh Hasina is not only the successor of Bangabandhu, she is the successor of Bangabandhu’s ideals as well, the minister said.
Later, she distributed sewing machines among poor and destitute women, added the release.
Former State Minister for Women and Children and Women Affairs Secretary of Bangladesh Awami League Meher Afroz Chumki, Mahila Awami League President Safia Khatun and Mahila Awami League Secretary Mahmuda Krik were present on the occasion.
