Lawmakers plant saplings on parliament premises to mark ‘Mujib Borsho’
DHAKA, Sept 28, 2020 (BSS) – A good number of lawmakers of the 11th Jatiya Sangsad (JS) today planted saplings on the parliament premises marking the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
The lawmakers are State Minister for Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Zunaid Ahmed Palak, State Minister for Foreign Affairs Md Shahriar Alam, Noor Mohammad, MP, Md. Ayen Uddin, MP, Ronjit KUmar Roy, MP, Soto Monir, MP, Sanowar Hossain, MP, Moyazzem Hossain Roton, MP, Shafikul Islam Shimul, MP, Oprajita Haque, MP, Anjum Sultana, MP and Gloria Jarna Sarker, MP.
To mark the birth centenary of Bangabandhu, this programme is being conducted on the parliament premises as part of the plan to plant one crore saplings across the country announced by the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
Among others, concerned officials and employees of the Secretariat of Bangladesh Jatiya Sangsad and Public Works Department (PWD) were present at the tree plantaton programme.
