PM’s birthday celebrated in Panchagarh
PANCHAGARH, Sept 28, 2020 (BSS)- The 74th birthday of Prime Minister and Awami League President Sheikh Hasina was celebrated in the district town today amidst much enthusiasm.
To mark the day, Panchagarh sadar Chattra league arranged a discussion meeting on Prime Minister’s life and activities and a tree plantation programme with sadar upazila chattra league President Arifuzzaman Arif in the chair .
Held at district Awami league office, the meeting was addressed among others by district Awami league General Secretary and Zila Parishad Chairman Anower Sadat Samrat as chief guest, Panchagarh municipality Awami league President Kaji Al -Tarek and General Secretary Huymaun Kabir.
The chief guest in his speech said Sheikh Hasina has now become a role model for development of Bangladesh and urged Chattra league activists to stand beside the distress and strengthen the hands of the party.
A doa mahfil was also held seeking blessings for sound health and long life of Prime Minister.
To mark the day, some saplings were also planted at Awami league office premises.
