DHAKA, Sept 28, 2020 (BSS) – Industries Minister Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun today said Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was an institution of world politics and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is the most accomplished student of that institution.
“Embracing the philosophy and consciousness of Bangabandhu’s economic liberation, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has taken Bangladesh to a new height of development in a short span of time. As a result of her visionary leadership, Bangladesh’s success in tackling the Corona epidemic has caught the eye of the world community,” he said.
The industries minister made the remarks while speaking at a discussion and doa mahfil organized by the Industries Ministry on the occasion of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s happy birthday.
Sate Minister for Industries Kamal Ahmed Mojumder was the special guest while Industries Secretary KM Ali Azam presided over the meeting.
Bangladesh Chemical Industries Corporation (BCIC) Chairman Md Mostafizur Rahman, additional secretaries of the Industries Ministry Salahuddin Mahmud and Md Helal Uddin, among others, spoke on the occasion.
Humayun said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is taking forward the country by uniting people of all classes and professions.
Under her successful leadership, he said, after achieving the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), Bangladesh is moving fast towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals(SDGs).
Under the direction of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, he said, the Industries Ministry is working for setting up new factories, modernizing old factories and replacing machinery to develop the country’s industrial sector.
Kamal Ahmed Mojumder said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is the mother of world humanity. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has been highly praised in the international arena as a leader of the oppressed people for her unique contribution to world politics, he added.
