SAVAR, Sept 28, 2020 (BSS) – Jahangirnagar University (JU) Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Farzana Islam has expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Attorney General (AG) Mahbubey Alam.
In a condolence message on Sunday, the VC said, “Mahbubey Alam has served as the state’s chief legal officer with integrity and efficiency. His knowledge and experience in law has brought special benefits to the government and the state. Jahangirnagar University will remember his legal assistance in many important cases of the university.”
Dr Farzana prayed for eternal peace of his departed soul and conveyed profound sympathy to the bereaved family.
Attorney General Mahbubey Alam passed away at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in the capital on Sunday evening. He was 71.
