DINAJPUR, Sept 27, 2020 (BSS) – Four members of a family were killed when a wall collapsed on them last night at Jaopara Shalbari village in Parbatipur upazila of the district.
The deceased were identified as Shapon, 40, his wife Sarjena, 35, their two sons Hossain, 8, and Hasibur, residents of the village.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Parbatipur Model Thana Md Moklesur Rahman said the wall, made of mud, collapsed on them when they were sleeping at their house.
The wall might have collapsed due to heavy rain, the OC added.
Police recovered their bodies around 11 am with the help of local people.
An unnatural death (UD) case was filed in this connection.
