3 held with firearm in Ctg
CHATTOGRAM, Sept 27, 2020 (BSS) – Chandgaon thana police arrested three alleged arms traders with a country-made single barrel gun from Bahir signal area in the city early today.
The arrested were identified as Md Miraj Uddin, 46, Md Arif, 26 and Mohammad Sagar,29.
Ataur Rahman, officer-in-charge (OC) of Chandgaon thana, said based on secret information a police team arrested them with the arms from the said area around 5 am.
In primary interrogation, the arms trader confessed to the police that they were involved in such arms trading for long.
A case was filed with Chandgaon thana in this connection, the OC added.
