Bodies of two children recovered in Gaibandha
GAIBANDHA, Sept 27, 2020 (BSS)-The bodies of two children were retrieved from a marshland at Taluk Sarbananda village under Sarbananda union of Sundarganj upazila in the district yesterday.
The victims were identified as Abdullah Al Mamun alias Shimul, son of Aminul Islam and Samiul Islam alias Shimanto, son of Mominul Islam of the village and they were cousins.
Family sources said Shimul and Shimanto went out of their homes for playing on Saturday morning.
Later, the family members started searching them as they did not come back home till evening.
At last, their dead bodies were found in a marshland of the village and then, the bodies were recovered by the police of Sundarganj Thana.
Later, the bodies were sent to hospital morgue for autopsies.
An unnatural death case was filed with local police station in this connection.
A pal of gloom descended on the village over the news of the bodies’ recovery of the two children.
