Three held with 9,315 yaba tablets in Rajshahi
RAJSHAHI, Sept 23, 2020 (BSS) – Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested three alleged drug-peddlers with 9,315 yaba tablets from Borobaria village under Charghat upazila in the district in the early hours of today.
The arrested were identified as Syed Alam, 39, son of Omar Ali, Chand Banu, 42, wife of Siddiqur Rahman and their daughter Sampa Khatun, 20.
On a tip off, a team of the RAB conducted a raid at Borobaria village under Charghat Upazila around 2.30 am and arrested them.
The Rab team also recovered 9,315 yaba pills from their possession.
A case was recorded with Charghat police station and the arrested persons along with the seized goods were handed over to police.
