Another case lodged against Nur
DHAKA, Sept 22, 2020 (BSS) – Police have lodged another case against former Vice President (VP) of Dhaka University Central Students’ Union (DUCSU) Nurul Haque Nur with Kotwali Police Station.
“A case was filed under the Women and Children Repression Prevention Act, and Digital Security Act last evening,” DMP’s Deputy Commissioner (Media) Walid Hossain told BSS this noon.
He said the girl who earlier filed a case against him and six others with Lalbagh Police Station is the complainant of this case filed with Kotwali Police Station.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Kotwali Police Station Mizanur Rahman told BSS that a girl filed the case against Nur and five others for their alleged involvement in abduction, rape and providing assistance in raping and assassinating the complainant’s character through social media.
