State Minister for Sports mourns death of Nousheruzzaman
DHAKA, Sept 22, 2020 (BSS) – State Minister for Youth and Sports Mohammad Zahid Ahsan Russell today expressed deep shock at the death of ‘Swadhin Bangla Football’ team member KM Nousheruzzaman.
In a condolence message, the state minister said: “Nousheruzzaman was a glittering star of ‘swadhin bangla football team’. He played an unstoppable role in advancing the country’s football. Not only that the nation will remember his contribution to the great liberation war with gratitude. His death is an irreparable loss for country’s football.”
The state minister also prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and expressed sympathy to the bereaved family.
Nowsheruzzaman died at a city hospital around 9.30 pm on Monday at the age of 72.
