DHAKA, Sept 21, 2020 (BSS)- State Minister for Information Dr Murad Hasan today expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of director (Administration) of Press Institute of Bangladesh (PIB) Ilias Bhuiyan.
In a condolence message, the state minister prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family members.
In a separate condolence message, Information Secretary Kamrun Nahar also expressed profound shock at the death of Ilias.
She prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul.
Bhuiyan, also a joint secretary, was killed and another person was injured after a truck hit their motorcycle
in Kajla point of Jatrabari area in the capital early today.
Police said the accident took place in the area as the truck hit the bike, leaving the duo critically injured.
They were rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH), where doctors pronounced Ilias dead.
