3 onion traders fined in Jamalpur
JAMALPUR, Sept 17, 2020 (BSS) – A mobile court of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) fined three onion trades of Dakpara Bazar area in the district town with Taka 30,000 each for selling onion at a higher price on Wednesday evening.
The mobile court conducted a raid in the area and fined Taka 30,000 each. The traders are Md Abdul Jalil, 60, Md Shafiqul Islam ,42 and Md Didarul Alam, 34.
Executive Magistrate Md Ekmul Abedin conducted the raid.
Company commander of RAB-14 MM Sabuz Rana said the raid will continue against the unscrupulous businessmen.
