DU Prof Md. Abdur Rahim obtains PhD Degree
DHAKA. Sep 16, 2020 (BSS) – Associate Professor of Islamic History and Culture department of Dhaka University (DU) Md. Abdur Rahim obtained his PhD degree from the same university.
He was conferred the degree at the syndicate meeting of the university on September 9, 2020, with Vice-Chancellor Dr Akhtaruzzaman in the chair, said a press release today.
Under the Bangabandhu PhD Scholarship of the Bangladesh Liberation War Welfare Trust, he obtained his PhD by conducting a research titled “Socio-Economic Life of East Bengal and Liberation War (1947-1971)”.
DU VC also professor of Islamic history and Culture department Dr Akhtaruzzaman was the supervisor of the PhD program.
