IEB leaders pay homage to Bangabandhu
DHAKA, Sept 18, 2020 (BSS) – Leaders of Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB) have paid homage to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman placing wreaths at his portrait at Bangabandhu museum at Dhanmondi 32 here today.
Later, IEB Dhaka Centre and Bangabandhu Engineers Council also paid homage to Bangabandhu placing wreaths at the portrait, said a press release.
Awami League Secretary for Science and Technology and former President of IEB Engineer Md Abdus Sabur, IEB’s Chief Engineer Nurul Huda, General Secretary Engineer Shahadat Hossain (Shiblu), IEB’s Vice President Engineer Nuruzzaman, Engineer Khandaker Manzur Morshed, Engineer SM Manjurul Haque Monju, Chairman of IEB Dhaka Centre Engineer Mollah Mohammad Abul Hossain and Secretary Engineer Kazi Khairul Bashar were present.
After paying their homage, the IEB leaders in their short speech said the engineers are always working to take the country forward with their talents and skills to materialize Bangabandhu’s dream of ‘Sonar Bangla’.
The speakers also said IEB will continue to work for the betterment of engineering education in the country, added the release.
