Farmer electrocuted in Nilphamari
NILPHAMARI, Sep 16, 2020 (BSS) – A farmer died after being electrocuted at Bajadumuria Majapara village in Kishorganj upazila of the district this afternoon.
The deceased was identified as Zillur Rahman, 40, hailed from the village.
Local people said Zillur was struck by a thunderbolt when he was working on his crop’s field amid rain.
He was rushed to Kishorganj Upazila Health Complex where the duty doctors declared him dead.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Kishorganj Thana Abdul Awal confirmed the matter.
