DHAKA, Sept 15, 2020 (BSS) – The Land Ministry today issued a notice urging people to remain alert about the forgery and requested them to inform the law enforcement agencies if anyone asks money for recruitment at offices under the ministry.
The ministry issued the notice taking cognizance of a widespread allegations that job seekers are being cheated in the name of providing jobs at the ministry concerned and its different departments.
According to media reports, a gang of swindlers are cheating people and taking a huge amount of money from job seekers alluring them of providing jobs in the ministry.
“The ministry and its subordinate bodies usually accomplish all type of its recruitments transparently and follow rules of the government”, stated the notice singed by Land Secretary M Maksudur Rahman Patwary.
There is no scope of pursuing corruption as job circulars are usually published on newspapers and particular websites of the departments concerned, the notice added.
The ministry has already informed the law enforcement agencies to take actions against the people, who are involved in the deceitful activities.
The notice also advised everyone to inform the nearest police station if any allegation of fraud is found against any individual/organisation.
The ministry has requested all the people concerned to verify the ministry websites before participating in the job recruitment process.
The public notice also included the website address of all the concerned organizations under the ministry.
