Two held with 4,880 yaba tablets in Cumilla
CUMILLA, Sept 14, 2020 (BSS) – Members of Rapid Action Battalion arrested two alleged drug traders with 4,880 pieces of yaba tablets in Lalbag area on the Dhaka-Chattogram highway in Cumilla Sadar Dakshin upazila this afternoon.
The detainees were identified as Rabiul Islam Rabi, 40, and Sayed Hossain, 26, residents of Chandpur district.
Being informed, a RAB team intercepted a pickup van in the area at around 4pm and recovered the yaba tablets after searching the pickup van and arrested the duo, said Company Commander of RAB-11 Major Talukder Nazmus Shakib.
A case was filed in this connection.
