DHAKA, Sept 14, 2020 (BSS) – Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions and at a few places over Dhaka, Chattogram, Rajshahi, Khulna and Barishal divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at some places over northern part of the country today.
Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, a met office release said this morning.
A low has formed over west central Bay off Andhra coast of India. Its associated trough extends to North Bay and it is likely to intensify.
The axis of monsoon trough runs through Rajasthan, Hariyana, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal to Assam across central part of Bangladesh.
Monsoon is fairly active over Bangladesh and moderate over North Bay.
Maximum temperature on Sunday was recorded 35.5 degrees celsius at Chuadanga and minimum temperature today 24.6 degrees celsius at Tetulia.
