CHATTOGRAM, Sept 13, 2020 (BSS) – The total number of recovered patients from
coronavirus rose to 13917 with the curing of 88 more people in the last 24
hours.
“The recovered patients were discharged from different home isolations and
Dedicated Corona Isolation Hospitals of the district as two consecutive real-
time PCR tests were found negative,” said Dr Sheikh Fazle Rabbi, civil
surgeon of Chattogram.
A total of 281 people died from coronavirus in the district till today.
Besides, 51 fresh cases were detected in the last 24 hours in the district.
Among the newly detected patients, 23 are from Chattogram city and 28 from
Patiya upazila of the district, hospital sources said.
Of the total 17,851 coronavirus infected persons in Chattogram, 12,100 are
the residents of the port city and the rest 4,936 are residents of different
upazilas of the district.
Besides, 1600 patients are undergoing treatment at isolation units of
different hospitals in the port city, Dr Fazle Rabbi said.
