NARSINGDI, Sept 13, 2020 (BSS) – Detectives Branch of police arrested five listed drug peddlers along with 1,000 yaba tablets from different upazilas of the district on Saturday.
The arrested persons are Arif alias Gharkata Arif, 32, M Kajal Mia, 48, Sumon, 24, and M Rashedul, 30, residents of different areas in Narsingdi district and Dulal Mia, 35, of Battail village in Kushtia district.
A team of Narsingdi DB police conducted the drives in different areas of the district and arrested them with the yaba tablets, said DB Sub-inspector Rupon Kumar Sarkar.
Different cases were pending against them with different police stations.
