RAJSHAHI, Sept 11, 2020 (BSS) – Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB), in an anti-crime drive, arrested two alleged drug peddlers with 470 yaba tablets here on Thursday.
According to the RAB sources, the arrested were identified as Sonarul Islam, 30, son of late Kkarejul Islam and Sohel Rana, 35, son of Nazim Uddin Pramanik, both under Charghat upazila in the district.
A team of the elite force, being informed, conducted a raid in Chan Nagar village under the Charghat upazila and nabbed them with the contraband items around 9.30 pm, the sources said.
A case was recorded with Charghat Police Station and the arrested persons along with the seized goods were handed over to the police.
