Eight shops gutted in Ctg
CHATTOGRAM, Sept 10, 2020 (BSS) – Eight different kind of shops were gutted in a fire that broke out at Bibirhat Bazar under Fatikchhari upazila of the district this morning.
Rafiqul Islam Bhuiyan, officer of Agrabad Fire Service and Civil Defense, Zone-3, said the fire originated from an electric short circuit of a shop at about 7.15 am and quickly engulfed the adjacent shops.
Three firefighting units from Hathazari and Fatikchhari upazila rushed to the spot and brought the flame under control around 8.30 am.
