2 held with 775-gram heroin in C’nawabganj
CHAPAINAWABGANJ, Sept 9, 2020 (BSS) – Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested two alleged drug peddlers with 775 grams of heroin from Dariapur Schoolpara under Sadar upazila of the district on Tuesday.
The arrested were identified as Md. Kajal, 38, of the aforesaid area and Mariam, 30, of Godagari under Rajshahi district.
RAB said, acting on a tip-off, an operation team of RAB-5 from Chapainawabganj camp raided the house of Kajal at Dariapur Schoolpara in the district at 4 pm and found the heroin worth about of Taka 77,50,000 in a bag on the sunshade of Kajal’s room. At this, RAB arrested the duo.
Later, the arrested persons were handed over to the police of Chapainawabganj Sadar Thana with a case.
