MEETING-JS- SOCIAL WELFARE
Meeting of JS body on social welfare ministry held
DHAKA, July 1, 2018 (BSS) – The thirty-fourth meeting of parliamentary
standing committee on Ministry of Social Welfare held today at Jatiya Sangsad
(JS) Bhaban here with Md Mozammel Hossain in the chair.
Social Welfare Minister Rashed Khan Menon, Peer Fazlur Rahman, Md Abdul
Matin, Begum Lutfa Taher and Syeda Sayera Mohsin attended the meeting, among
others.
The committee discussed in detail the recently floated Children
(correction) Bill, 2018, and recommended scrutinising the matter more and
submitting a revised report on this.
Social welfare secretary, senior officials of the ministry and JS
secretariat were present on the occasion, among others.
