Birshreshtha Mostafa Kamal’s mother laid to rest
BHOLA, Sept 8, 2020 (BSS) – Mosammat Maleka Begum, mother of
Birshreshtha Shaheed Mohammad Mostafa Kamal, was buried at her family
graveyard at Moutupi village of Alinagar union under Bhola Sadar
upazila this evening.
Earlier, a namaz-e-janaza was held at Birshreshtha Shaheed Mohammad
Mostafa Kamal’s Eidgah Ground, where people of all walks of life paid
their rich tribute to the departed soul.
Representatives of local administration, police, and different
political and socio-cultural organizations paid their homage by
placing wreaths on her coffin.
Deputy commissioner Md Masud Alam Siddique, general secretary of
district Awami League and Zila Parishad chairman Abdul Momin Tulu,
Superintendent of Police Sarker Md Kawsar, Lieutenant Ahad of
Patuakhali Sheikh Hasina Cantonment, district unit of Muktijouddha
commander Dosto Mahmud, among others, placed wreaths on the coffin
before the janaza.
Maleka breathed her last at around 7:40 today due to various old-age
complications. She was 96.
