LAKSHMIPUR, Sept 7, 2020 (BSS) – The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) today filed two separate cases against a driver of Lakshmipur Judge Court and his brother for allegedly accumulating illegal wealth.

ACC assistant director Subel Ahmed filed the cases against driver Nur Hossain Patwary and his brother Amir Hossain Patwary with its Noakhali integrated district office.

According to the case statements, upon receiving graft allegations, the national anti-graft agency on July 8 in 2019 sent notices to Nur Hossain and Amir Hossain asking them to submit their wealth statements to the commission.

But, the case statements said, both the accused did not submit their wealth reports within the stipulated timeframe. So, the ACC today filed two separate cases against them under the Anti-Corruption Commission Act- 2004.
