Probe report in Shahed’s fake note case on Oct 15
DHAKA, Sept 07, 2020 (BSS) – A Dhaka court today set October 15 to submit probe report in a case lodged over recovery of fake note from a den of Regent Group chairman Md Shahed alias Shahed Karim.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Millat Hossain passed the order as the concerned investigation officer failed to submit the report today.
Shahed was arrested by Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) from Debhata upazilla of Shatkhira on the early hours of July 15 and was airlifted to the capital in the morning.
RAB on the same day raided his Uttara den and recovered fake note, among other things, from there.
RAB-1 official Mozibur Rahman filed the case in connection with the matter against Shahed, Regent Group managing director Masud Pervej and others.
