4 held with 13.1 kg hemp in C’nawabganj
CHAPAINAWABGANJ, Sept 6, 2020 (BSS)-Members of the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested four alleged drug peddlers and seized 13.1 kilograms of hemp from their possessions from sadar upazila of the district this morning.
The arrested persons were identified as Ketaur Rahman, 25 and Md. Yusuf, 26 both residents of Uttar Uzirpur Thakthaki village and Mohammad Firoj, 30 and Mohammad Mehedi Hasan, 27 , vilagers of Raghobbati Parchowka under Shibganj upazila of the district .
RAB said, acting on secret information, a team of RAB-5 from Chapainawabganj camp raided Dariapur Hatapara village under Chapainawabganj sadar upazila at 5.15 am and arrested them with the hemp.
Later, the arrested persons were handed over to the police of Chapainawabganj Sadar Model thana and a case was loged against them in this connection.
