SAYAM-DEATH ANNIVERSARY
9th death anniversary of Nanak’s son Sayam tomorrow
DHAKA, Sept 5, 2020 (BSS) – The ninth death anniversary of Sayam Ur
Rahman, only son of Awami League Presidium Member Advocate Jahangir
Kabir Nanak, will be observed tomorrow.
Marking the anniversary, Sayam Memorial Foundation will arrange
Quran Khwani, doa and milad mahfil at different local religious
institutions in the city, maintaining the health guidelines, said a
press release.
Jahangir Kabir Nanak and his wife Advocate Syeda Arjuman Nargis
requested all relatives, friends and well-wishers to pray for eternal
peace of departed soul of their son Sayam from respective positions as
they skipped arranging any formal programme this year due to the
COVID-19 pandemic.
Sayam was killed in a fatal road accident in Cox’s Bazar on
September 6, 2011, the release added.
