DHAKA, Sept 5, 2020 (BSS) – Two benches of the Appellate Division of
the Supreme Court will begin operation virtually from tomorrow.
Chief Justice Syed Mahmud Hossain issued an order to run the
benches virtually until further order, according to a notice signed by
Appellate Division registrar Md Badrul Alam Bhuiyan.
The chief justice will chair Court No.1 (Bench) while Justice Hasan
Foyez Siddique, Justice Md Nuruzzaman and Justice Obaidul Hasan will
assist him.
Senior Justice Muhammad Imman Ali will lead Court No. 2 and he will
be assisted by Justice Mirza Hussain Haider, Justice Abu Bakar
Siddiquee and Justice Tariq ul Hakim.
According to the website of the SC, there are 150 cases in the
cause list for hearing in Court No.1 while 100 cases in court No.2.
