Kamal, Mannan condole sector commander Abu Osman’s death
DHAKA, Sept 5, 2020 (BSS) – Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal and Planning Minister MA Mannan today expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of valiant freedom fighter and Sector Commander of the 1971 Liberation War Lieutenant Colonel (retd) Abu Osman Chowdhury.
In separate messages of condolence, both the ministers with profound respect recalled the outstanding contributions of Abu Osman Chowdhury to the country’s great Liberation War.
The Finance Minister and the Planning Minister also prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed profound sympathy to the bereaved family.
Abu Osman Chowdhury, the commander of sector-8 during the Liberation War, breathed his last at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Dhaka this morning.
