DHAKA, Sept 5, 2020 (BSS) – Foreign Minister Dr A K Abdul Momen today expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Abu Osman Chowdhury, Commander of sector-8 during the 1971’s Liberation War.
In a condolence message, the minister said the Bengali nation will remember the contribution of Lieutenant Colonel (Retd) Abu Osman Chowdhury to the great Liberation War forever.
He prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
Abu Osman Chowdhury passed away while undergoing treatment at Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Dhaka this morning.
