DHAKA, Aug 2, 2020 (BSS) – Professor Dr M Shah Alam, former acting chairman of Bangladesh Law Commission and founding chairman of Chittagong University (CU) Law Department, passed away while undergoing treatment at a city hospital on Monday night.
He was 70, said a press release here today.
Shah Alam, also a freedom fighter and brother of noted journalist M Shahjahan Miah, left behind his wife, a daughter and a host of relatives and admirers to mourn his death.
