DHAKA, Aug 31, 2020 (BSS) – Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader has expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of ex-President of India Pranab Mukherjee.
In a condolence message, he said Mukherjee was a true friend of Bangladesh.
“His death is an irreparable loss to the arena of politics in the subcontinent,” he added.
The minister prayed for salvation of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
Mukherjee passed away this evening at a Delhi hospital at the age of 84.
