Tigresses aim to sweep series against Ireland
DHAKA, June 30, 2018 (BSS)- High flying Bangladesh women’s cricket team are aiming to sweep the T20 series as they face host Ireland women’s cricket team in the third and final T20 scheduled to be held tomorrow (Sunday) at Dublin.
The match kicks off at 7 pm (BST).
The Asian champions already took 2-0 lead in the series following a nail-biting four-wicket victory in the first match and also won the second match by the same identical margin.
After the series win against Ireland, Salma Khatun and her troops are surely beaming with confidence ahead of their ICC Women’s World T20 qualifier campaign in the Netherlands.
The eve cricket team is expected to depart for the Netherlands on July 3. In the qualifier campaign, Tigresses will take on Scotland in an official warm-up game on July 4 before they face Papua New Guinea on July 7 in Amstelveen, a province in the Netherlands.
Bangladesh will then take on the Netherlands and the United Arab Emirates in the following two group games on July 8 and 10 respectively.
